Masked Man Robs Miramar Gas Station at Gunpoint: Reports

Video shows an armed robbery at a Mobil gas station in Miramar.

A gas station clerk is shaken up after he says a masked man came in overnight and robbed the store at gunpoint.

The clerk told NBC 6 that he's only worked at the Mobil gas station, located at 7990 Riviera Boulevard, for about six months.

He said he was alone early Monday morning cleaning up the store when someone entered the store wearing a mask and holding a gun.

"'Let me get the money,' that's the first thing he said," the clerk told NBC 6. "'Let me get the money.' And that was it, gun pointed to my face."

The gunman got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Shaken but alive, the clerk expressed relief, "I'm glad I can see another day."

While he could not see the suspect's face, the clerk described him as a black male standing about six-feet-tall. The incident was captured on surveillance video.

Police have not released any further information.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Broward County Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS.
