Miami-Dade Schools Police are looking for three children believed to have been taken by their mother in an interference of custody case

Miami-Dade Schools Police are looking for three children believed to have been taken by their mother in an interference of custody case.

Erin, Derrick and Steven Pena were last seen in the company of their biological mother, Carrie Weingarth and her boyfriend, Christian Coello, Miami-Dade Schools Police said.

Erin Pena, 12, was last seen at Gulfstream Elementary School at 20900 Gulf Stream Road in Cutler Bay. Police said Weingarth, who does not have custody of Erin, secretly entered the school and removed him during lunch Friday.

Weingarth, 33, has custody of the two younger children but they haven't been in school for months, police said.

Weingarth has been known to frequent Cutler Bay and the Cutler Ridge area, according to police. Her last known address was 20410 SW 92nd Place, Cutler Bay. Investigators believe Weingarth and Coello may be preparing to flee the state.

Police said the pair may be traveling in a newer model white Nissan Altima.

Weingarth and Coello have criminal histories and have active warrants on unrelated cases, police said.

Anyone with information is urged to call Miami-Dade Schools Police at 305-995-1553 or Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
