NBC 6’s Melissa Adan has the latest from Little Havana after the early morning robbery which was quickly solved.
Miami Police say they have captured several people - including one under the age of 18 - they say allegedly tried to steal thousands of dollars’ worth of designer rims off a car early Tuesday morning.
The scene took place before 4 AM at an apartment complex near NW 28th Street and 7th Avenue. Neighbors saw between four and five people taking two rims - valued around $3,000 - off the Mitsubishi vehcile and called police.
Officers responded and eventually captured the suspects around 4:30 AM just blocks away and recovered the rims.
Police have not released any additional information and the case is still under investigation.
