Mostly Sunny With Temps in Upper 70s Monday

Early temps in 60s to reach upper 70s Monday in South Florida

The clouds clear early and make way to full afternoon sun. Meteorologist Shiri Spear has the local forecast.

Early temps in the 60s will reach highs in the mid to upper 70s Monday afternoon in South Florida.

After record heat Sunday, where Miami set a record high of 87 degrees, conditions will be a bit cooler and certainly less muggy Monday.

A few clouds may be around this morning, especially in the Keys. Northerly winds will rapidly flush the clouds and full sun will develop.

High pressure will rule the forecast through midweek. Expect mostly sunny and dry weather with gradually warming temperatures.
