Police were on the road chasing the man on a motorcycle early Friday morning.
A man on a motorcycle who led police on a chase in Sweetwater Friday morning was taken into custody after he crashed, officials said.
Officers were conducting a traffic stop in the area of Northwest 12th Street and 112th Avenue when the biker fled, Sweetwater Police officials said.
A chase began and Miami-Dade Police responded to help Sweetwater Police. At one point, the biker hit a police cruiser, officials said.
The chase ended when the man lost control and crashed the motorcycle near some bus benches in the area of Northwest 87th Avenue and West Flagler Street.
Police haven't released the suspect's name but said he's facing several felonies.
