A Broward County man will remain behind bars after he was denied bond following a weekend arrest on murder charges stemming from an incident in Pembroke Pines last month.

Javayne McDonald was arrested Saturday and charged with premeditated murder. The 19-year-old was denied bond during a Monday hearing and told to stay away from two witnesses in the case.

McDonald’s arrest comes in the case of 20-year-old Tyler Rowe, a Davie resident who died at a Pembroke Pines hospital on May 23rd after a shooting at the Gatehouse Apartment complex located off Pines Boulevard west of University Drive.

Police have not given additional details in the case.
