Lockdown Lifted at North Miami Senior High School After Report of Weapon on Campus

NBC 6’s Steve Litz has more on the developing story after reports of a gun on campus being called in early Monday morning.

North Miami Senior High School was placed on lockdown Monday morning after a report of a weapon on campus, officials said.

Miami-Dade School officials said the school at 13110 Northeast 8th Avenue was placed on lockdown while it was being searched.

No weapon was found and the lockdown was lifted before noon.

No other information was immediately known.
