A driver was able to escape a fiery wreck in North Miami on Friday. NBC6 Reporter Julia Bagg has the story.
One person was injured in a fiery crash in North Miami Friday morning, officials said.
According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, the incident happened at Northwest 135th Street and Northwest 17th Ave at around 5:15 a.m.
Officials said the vehicle hit a tree and caught fire. The person in the vehicle was found near the car.
Rescue crews took the person to the hospital. His condition is currently unknown.
Officials have not released the person's identity.
It's unclear what caused the crash. It's now under investigation.
