A Southwest Miami-Dade father and son were taken into custody after police found a massive credit card fraud scheme taking place inside their home.

Miami-Dade Police arrested 56-year-old Luis Perez and his 32-year-old son Jose early Thursday morning off SW 149th Place and 37th Street after an investigation that lasted several months.

Inside the home, officers found thousands of fake credit and gift cards along with skimmers and printing devices for making the fraudulent cards, estimating they found about $50,000 in stolen gift cards alone.
