Scholarship Money Offered to Low Income South Florida Students For SAT Prep Courses

The program will allow students in need to use the money for critical training courses to do better on the college test.

South Florida students from low income homes now have a chance to get scholarship money to help pay for much needed prep courses before taking the SAT or ACT.

MindWorks Prep, a Coral Springs based organization, is offering $5,000 for students on free or reduced lunch to take one of two upcoming “boot camp” courses on Saturday, February 24th.

Both camps will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with one taking place at the BB&T Center in Sunrise and the other at Lynn University in Boca Raton.
