Sheriff's Office Searching for Broward Firefighter Who Went Missing in Palm Beach

Deputies in Palm Beach County are searching for a Broward County firefighter who disappeared Friday.

James Von Minden was last seen around 5:30 p.m. on June 19 in the area of Randolph Siding Road and Alexander Run in Jupiter Farms, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said.

Officials said Von Minden was disoriented and could be in trouble.

Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue officials said Von Minden has been with the department since June 1990.

Von Minden is 5-foot-11, 210 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes.  He was last seeing wearing a black t-shirt, dark colored shorts and sandals.
