Police are investigating an early morning shooting that closed an intersection in Lauderhill after three men were shot.
Lauderhill Police say the shooting took place around 2:30 a.m. with three men being shot inside of a car. The driver of the car, a female who was not shot, drove to the 3400 block of Inverarry Boulevard and found an officer responding to a separate scene

Police say the four people were in the car when it was shot at during what they are investigating as a possible robbery gone wrong.

"They had some interactions with individuals and shots rang out," said Lauderhill Police Lt. Mike Santiago.
The three shooting victims were rushed to Broward General Hospital, where one victim was taken into surgery.
"It was about 2:30 a.m., I woke up and I heard 'bam, bam, bam,'" said Bob Wright, who lives in the neighborhood where the shooting took place. "I’m just concerned."

Police searched the neighborhood hoping to find witnesses or surveillance video of the shooting.
