The FBI said it s seeking suspects in two separate bank robberies that occurred in South Florida Friday.

At about 12:10 p.m. a male suspect entered the BB&T bank at 5600 N. University Drive in Tamarac, showed a weapon and demanded money from an employee, the FBI said in a statement.

The suspect, who wore a Chicago Bulls hat, took an undisclosed amount of money, the FBI said. There were no injuries.

A little under an hour later, at about 1 p.m., a robber walked into a TD Bank in North Miami Beach, demanded money from an employee and took an undisclosed amount before fleeing in a taxi, the FBI said.

The alleged robber wore a black cap, sunglasses and a striped shirt, photos released by the FBI show.

There were no injuries in the incident at 1500 NE Miami Gardens Drive, according to the FBI.

The agency asks anyone with information on the identity of either bank robber to call it at 305-944-9101 or to call Crime Stoppers.
