A 14-year-old girl watching TV in her Miramar home over the weekend was shot and wounded by a stray bullet from a house party next door, according to authorities.
The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. at a home in the 17000 block of Southwest 31st Court inside the Pelican Cove community.
Police said two women had left the party after getting into some sort of argument and later came back with two men, and that's when the shooting began.
"I was there at the party. Everybody was giving each other a hug to go home and when we looked around we just heard shots firing everywhere, so we had to fall to the ground and run across to get to safety," said Stephanie Roper, a witness whose son was hit in the incident.

All three victims were taken to local hospitals and were in stable condition.
Police say a handgun, a rifle and a significant amount of shell casings were recovered on the scene.
