One man is dead and another was hospitalized after a fatal crash on the Julia Tuttle Causeway Saturday morning.
Officials with the Florida Highway Patrol say the vehicle collided with a guardrail and then flipped over. The driver was ejected from the car and pronounced dead on scene. The passenger was transported to Ryder Trauma Center in stable condition.
The crash closed down a westbound lane of the Julia Tuttle Causeway Sunday morning. The MacArthur or Venetian causeways can be used as an alternate.
FHP is currently investigating the incident
