TV Robbers Hit North Broward Businesses: Broward Sheriff's Office

The robbers have hit businesses such as Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza, Bru's Room and Buffalo Wild Wings.

Three unidentified men have been stealing TVs from North Broward businesses and police are hoping newly released surveillance video will help find them. NBC 6’s Claudia DoCampo has the story.

A group of TV robbers are back at it in Broward County.

Three unidentified men stole two TVs and a cash register from Alexa's Organic Farmer's Market at North Federal Highway in Lighthouse Point Wednesday, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.

The thieves started taking TVs at the beginning of November and have since hit other businesses including an Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza, Bru's Room, Buffalo Wild Wings and Excel Barber Shop in Pompano Beach, BSO said.

"It was a complete shock," said Richie Prisco from Bru's Room. "We worked so hard, we put in new TVs. You feel violated. And they continue to go to all these other businesses. They are brazen and have no fear."

Deputies said the men are connected to at least 16 burglaries in the northern part of the county.

"These guys are working Pompano, Deerfield, Lighthouse Point. They've even gone out to Coral Springs and they're targeting businesses," BSO spokeswoman Gina Carter said. "They're looking for large flat screens they can sell easily and also are taking the cash registers."

Surveillance video from Anthony's shows the men circle the restaurant in a green, older-model Toyota, officials said. One of the men stayed in the car, while two others entered the store. Surveillance video shows one of those men is thin, with shoulder-length dread locks, a dark-colored shirt and tan baggy shorts. The other is thin with short hair, and wearing a black tank top and red sneakers.
