Miami-Dade police said one person was killed and another injured in a shooting early Monday near a country club apartment complex.
The shooting happened at the Venetian Gardens country club apartment complex, located at 18111 NW 68th Ave. just after 4:00 Monday morning.
According to police, the victim was sleeping when the suspect entered his home and a confrontation ensued.
There was an exchange of gunfire and the subject was killed. The victim was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
Homicide investigators are on the scene. No other information was immediately available.
