Highs were at 91 with a 60 percent chance of scattered storms.
The National Weather Service issued a significant weather advisory Saturday afternoon for lightning, gusty winds from 45 to 55 mph and up to nickel-sized hail.
Storms will continue rolling over South Florida through the evening.
A 30 to 40 percent chance of isolated showers will remain in place through mid-week. Highs will remain in the low 90s.
