Police are investigating another armed robbery at the Windmill Lakes complex in Pembroke Pines.

Pembroke Pines Police are investigating an armed robbery late Monday night in the same apartment complex where two armed carjackings took place in December of 2017.
Officers responded to the Windmill Lakes complex at Southwest 86th Avenue and 3rd Street around 11:30 p.m., saying that a woman was approached by two men after parking her car demanding her bag.
One of the robbers allegedly held a gun to the victim’s head while the second hit and kicked her before burglarizing her car. The victim escaped to her apartment and the two men fled with two sets of the woman's car keys.
Cell phone video shot by a neighbor showed the two suspects running from the scene.
The victim was treated at the scene for her injuries. Both robbers are described as black males, each around 5-foot-6 with one wearing a dark grey hoodie and the other wearing glasses. Both men were last seen on Southwest 86th Avenue.
That same apartment complex was the site of two armed carjackings on December 13th and 14th. In the first case, two suspects used firearms to demand a 2017 Toyota Corolla from the victim before fleeing in the vehicle. Each suspect was described as a black male approximately 5-foot-7, 170 lbs. and in their late teens or early 20s.

The second carjacking involved two men using firearms to demand a 2011 Hyundai Sonata, while a third suspect entered the vehicle and all three fled the scene in the car. Neither victim was injured in those cases.
Neighbors and the victim's family said they want the complex to do something to make the area safer.
"Put up a gate, make sure there is a security guard here and more lights for us to see and for this to stop happening," said the victim's daughter, who only wanted to be identified as Whitney. "We want our stuff back and justice to be served."
