A woman was shot outside of a bank in Ft. Lauderdale. NBC 6 Reporter Amanda Plasencia explains.
Police are investigating after a woman was shot in the parking lot of a Fort Lauderdale bank Friday.
The incident was reported outside the Wells Fargo Bank at 1710 South Andrews Avenue.
Police said the woman was taken to Broward Medical Health Center, where her condition was unknown. She was speaking with officers when she was transported.
Footage showed multiple officers at the scene as well as a pool of blood and what appears to be a handgun.
Police said a man was taken into custody at the scene. The man and woman know each other but their exact relationship is unknown. Their identities weren't released.
No other information was immediately known.
