A woman's body was discovered at a community garden in Delray Beach, and authorities are investigating her death as a homicide, police said.
A distinct odor led a resident to the body of Jennifer Salcito, 33, who was found Tuesday morning partially hidden in the bushes at Frog Alley Community Garden, according to the Delray Police Department.
Iris Jones, the property owner of where the body was found, said she has caught Salcito sleeping in the garden in the past.
"I said to her, 'You know you can't sleep out here...It's just too dangerous,'" Jones said.
Anyone with information about the woman or her death is asked to contact Detective Mike Shiner at 561-243-7828 or report anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers of Palm Beach County at 800-458-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers will pay up to $3,000 for an anonymous tip that leads to an arrest.
