When an unfortunate swimming pool accident left 18-year-old high school lacrosse standout Ryan Burbank paralyzed from the chest down, his entire family was profoundly affected. The tightly-knit Maplewood, NJ community rallied to help raise funds for Ryan’s medical and rehabilitative costs, but the Burbanks laced the necessary resources to make their household more suitable for Ryan’s needs. With the help of contractor Brinton Brosius and designer Ashlee Anthony, the George to the Rescue team answers the call and provides the Burbanks with an accessible, beautiful, and enjoyable living environment they deserve.
