Harry Styles Stops Concert to Help Bisexual Teen Come Out to Her Mother

Before the show, Grace tweeted a photo of a homemade sign that said: “I’m gonna come out to my parents because of you!!!”

What is a girl to do when she decides to come out to her mom? Get Harry Styles to help. The One Direction crooner decided to give “Grace” a hand after seeing her handmade sign that said “I’m gonna come out to my parents because of you!!!”

A teenager says she came out as bisexual to her mom with the help of British pop star Harry Styles.

The 18-year-old fan, Grace, had already seen 10 of Styles’ concerts over the summer before attending his show in San Jose earlier this week, Buzzfeed News reported.

Before the show, Grace tweeted a photo of a homemade sign that said: “I’m gonna come out to my parents because of you!!!”

But Grace got a lot more than she expected when Styles saw the sign and stopped the concert to read it loud.

Grace’s mom, Tina, was staying at a nearby hotel.

Videos posted to social media show Styles quieting the audience before shouting, “Tina! She’s gay!”

Grace later tweeted: "Thank you so much for creating an environment where I am proud to be who I am. Your continuous support of the LGBTQ+ has helped me come to love myself and feel safe."
