Body Is Missing 6-Year-Old Girl, Coroner Says

A coroner has confirmed that the body of a child discovered amid blackberry bushes Thursday is that of 6-year-old Jenise Wright, who went missing last Sunday from the mobile home park where she lived in Washington state, NBC News reported. Police are struggling to find a suspect in the girl's murder. "We have nobody," Kitsap County sheriff’s Deputy Scott Wilson told NBC News. The area's playgrounds were empty Friday, as parents kept their children inside and the girl's family planned her funeral. Police have not released a cause of death, although the county medical examiner conducted an autopsy and ruled the girl's death a homicide.
