Sylvan Terrace is a property frozen in time. Originally the carriage drive to the Morris-Jumel Mansion, it is the oldest home in Manhattan, and also George Washington’s headquarters during the Revolutionary War. Now, Sylvan Terrace has twenty wood-framed 19th Century row houses that line the street. Townhouse Eleven has been renovated, but many of its original details have been preserved.
