Rules Changing for Transgender Kids Hormone Therapies

In a series of tweets on July 26, President Donald Trump announced plans to ban transgender people from serving in the military “in any capacity.” Trump cited “medical costs and disruption” as the reasons. His announcement comes just before the release of new, international medical guidelines that are expected to allow transgender children to alter their bodies at younger ages.
