Cyndi Lauper on Her Son Entering the Music Business

Harry: “The musicality has passed on because your son Declyn, he’s a musician.” Cyndi: “Yeah, he’s doing really well. Record companies are talking to him. It’s an exciting time for him and he’s in the studio making music. I think he has a lot of talent and a lot of different talents, and he has the whole world ahead of him. He used to tell me when he was little, he was like 8 or 10, and it was the encore, and he said, ‘Mom, give me the mic. I got this.’ I figured it was the encore, so he went on and put his hood up and went, ‘Let’s make some noise,’ and the whole place went nuts.
