S. Korean Media: N. Korea Fires 10 Short-Range Missiles

South Korean media are reporting that North Korea has fired 10 short-range missiles into the sea, according to NBC News. South Korea's Yonhap news agency reported that the missiles flew for 45 miles before crashing into the sea east of the Korean peninsula. State Dept. Spokeswoman Jen Psaki said the U.S. is monitoring the situation and called on North Korea to refrain from provocative actions. This isn't the first time North Korea has launched missiles this year. Earlier this month it shot two short-range missiles into the sea off its east coast.
