Joe Biden was in South Florida Monday to take part in a town hall meeting hosted by NBC — at the Perez Art Museum in downtown Miami. NBC 6’s Jackie Nespral, Steve Litz and Willard Shepard report.
Former Vice President and current democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden took part in a pair of campaign events in Miami with his wife Monday prior to participating in an NBC News town hall.
Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, visited the Little Haiti Cultural Center in Miami on their first stop in town. After that event, the Bidens spoke at an event in Little Havana.
Later in the evening, NBC News will hold a town hall event with Joe Biden at the Pérez Art Museum Miami in front of a socially distanced audience of undecided Florida voters, the network said.
The town hall, hosted by "Nightly News" anchor Lester Holt, will air at 8 p.m. ET Monday — two days before the Oct. 7 vice presidential debate between Vice President Mike Pence and Sen. Kamala Harris in Utah.
