12-Year-Old Injured by Drag Racing Car in Hit-and-Run

A 12-year-old boy has been airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital after he was hit by a drag racing car Thursday, Miami Gardens Police said. Witnesses said they saw two cars drag racing heading northbound on Northwest 29th Avenue. One of the cars hit the boy in the area of 15231 NW 29th Ave., police said.
