Miami-Dade 8th Grader Threatened Minorities in Group Chat

A South Florida 8th grader was arrested last Thursday after threatening to shoot minorities in a group chat filled with classmates, police said. The 13-year-old student, who attends Leewood K-8 Center in Kendall, is now facing one count of written threats to kill or cause bodily injury, according to an arrest report released Monday.
