Birthday Surprise Ends in Stabbing in Davie

A man who was caught on camera attacking and stabbing his ex-girlfriend’s current boyfriend at a Davie shopping center is facing an aggravated battery charge, police said. Richard Madruga, 34, was arrested in the July 20 incident that happened outside Painting With a Twist at 5810 South University Drive, according to a Davie Police report.
