Doctors Warn Against Using Parasite Infection Drug As COVID Treatment

Ivernectin is used to treat parasitic infections, mostly in livestock, but that hasn’t stopped some from using the animal version of the drug. Ivermectin is not approved by the FDA to treat COVID-19. NBC 6’s Julie Leonardi reports.
