Lauderhill Slammed With 13 Inches of Rain

Chuck Lanza, the Broward County EOC Director, was inspecting damage Monday alongside stranded cars and canoers. He told NBC 6 South Florida that 13 inches of rain fell on the area but that water had not yet flooded houses. Marvin Lee, a Lauderhill resident since 1996, said the area “flooded out” in a matter of three hours.
