Miami-Dade Corrections Officer Arrested

A Miami-Dade Corrections officer was arrested on a domestic battery charge after police say he choked a woman in her Miami Gardens home. Tarvos Terrail Alford, 49, was arrested early Wednesday on charges of domestic battery by strangulation and tampering with a victim, an arrest report said.
