Mother of Marine Jailed in Mexico Attending House Hearing

The mother of a South Florida Marine jailed in Mexico is heading to the nation’ s capital Wednesday to speak about her son’s case with U.S. representatives. Jill Tahmooressi, mother of Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, will attend Wednesday’s House subcommittee hearing. Rep. Ed Royce (R-California) chairs the committee and is calling for Tahmooressi’s immediate release.
