Woman Arrested After Fight Over Shoes Turns Fatal: BSO

A Pompano Beach woman is facing charges after authorities say another woman died after the two got into a fight over borrowed shoes. Cortez Fields, 18, was arrested Monday on a charge of aggravated battery causing bodily harm in the death of Nicole Hewitt, according to a Broward County Sheriff’s Office report released Wednesday.
