First Lady Michelle Obama went on an impromptu shopping spree with Ellen as she co-hosted on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" Tuesday, alongside guest Steph Curry, of the Golden State Warriors.

It’s the first time a first lady is appearing on the show.

"What an honor for her," DeGeneres jokes, according to a preview video for the appearance that also shows the pair dancing.

DeGeneres and Obama talk to Curry about playing golf with the president, and he jokes that he’s playing "Secret Service" while denying their requests to know what Barack’s handicap is when it comes to the sport.

"I was told not to disclose that information on our president’s handicap — that’s top secret," Curry says.

Curry and Obama also talk the president's tendency to trash talk while playing, which leads Michelle Obama to giving him tips to go back at him.

"Talk about his ears," Obama says, "Here’s one: As you’re putting, you wanna say ‘the shadow from your ears is really messing up my putt.’"

The two will also discuss Brita’s “Drink Up” initiative, which is aimed at getting families to drink more water, and to educate them on affordable better tasting drinking water options.

The interview takes a serious turn as Obama talks about her time spent at the White House throughout the last eight years. She reflects on what she’s going to miss.

"It’s really the people. Ya know, think about it," she says. "The girls have grown up in the White House. I mean the staff that’s there we see them every day. These are people who have helped us raise our kids."

She also discusses how she and Barack are trying to encourage their daughters, Malia and Sasha, to savor every last moment spent in the White House.

While she says they think they’re ready to move on, she knows it won’t be as easy on them as they believe. But she says she is very proud of the way they’ve grown up.

"I mean, I just love them to death and the big thing I’ve always worried about was making sure that they got out of this whole," Obama says. "I’m just proud that they are poised, smart, intelligent young women."

Music star Usher is also set to make an appearance on the show, with a surprise appearance from an actor.
