The pattern of morning sunshine and afternoon storms should hold through mid-week in South Florida, as Monday will see sunshine early with storms around 2 p.m.
With the early sun we’ll get a jump on the temperatures for the day, with readings in the middle to upper 80s by mid-day. Highs today will reach 88.
A few isolated showers are possible overnight with partly cloudy skies prevailing otherwise. Lows will drop to around 75.
Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon bring more of the same with highs around 89.
Hurricane season officially begins on Friday.
