Transportation Security Administration Encounters Resistance to Knives on Planes Changes
The Transportation Security Administration is about to change its longstanding ban on carrying knives onto airplanes. The new rules go into effect next month, but already flight attendants say the changes will expose them to greater risks in the air. TSA Administrator John Pistole, passengers Jim Scoledes and Vilma Romero, and Veda Shook of the Association of Flight Attendants spoke about the issue.
