Construction will force the partial closure of a Miami street Friday.
Three eastbound lanes on Northwest 12th Street will be closed at Milam Dairy Road - one lane will remain open - and one southbound lane on Milam Dairy Road to eastbound Northwest 12th Street will also be closed on Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:45 p.m.
The closures will allow a contractor to perform emergency repairs on a 48-inch force main. The existing left turn lane will remain open to allow drivers to go north on Milam Dairy Road or continue east on Northwest 12th Street.
Eastbound drivers can use the following route as an alternate:
- North on Northwest 82nd Avenue
- East on Northwest 25th Street
- South on 72nd Avenue/Milam Dairy Road to connect with Northwest 12th Street
