FDLE Issues Missing Child Alert for 2 Miami Kids

A missing child alert was issued Friday morning for two Miami kids and their great-grandmother in Ocala.

Lauren Rowe, 5, and Landyn Rose, 2, had been last seen in the area of the 300th block of Southwest 19th Avenue in Ocala, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said.

The children were in the company of 69-year-old Carneva Harrison Ashley in a 2013 gray Chrysler 200, with Florida License BPHU67, the FDLE said.

Authorities said all three were found safe in Miami Friday.

Police said the three left Miami Wednesday morning on the way to Calhoun. They stopped in Ocala and stayed with a relative and were heading back to Miami after the Calhoun trip was cancelled, authorities said.

Lauren Rowe is three feet tall, 49 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes and has a dark birthmark on her abdomen the size of a penny. Landyn Rose is two feet tall, 32 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, with scars on his scalp.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Ocala Police Department at 352-369-7000 or 911.
