Police are investigating a shooting that killed a father early Saturday morning.
The deadly shooting occurred at 2857 N.W. 14 Street near Fort Lauderdale around 2:33 a.m.
Broward Sheriff's officers responded to reports of shots being fired. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a deceased black male lying in the street, police said.
The victim's sister identified the father as 23-year-old Damian Jackson. Jackson has one daughter and his girlfriend is pregnant with his second child.
