Police have identified the woman who was discovered dead inside an Allapattah apartment, but now the search is on for her missing Mini Copper.
Michelle Aranda's decomposing body was discovered in her home on the 1700 block of Northwest North River Drive Thursday morning.
Detectives went to her apartment after receiving a call from the victim's mother who lives out town and was concerned about her daughter. When officers arrived to do a welfare check, they smelled a foul odor and found Aranda's body. Police did not reveal the cause of death.
They are looking for the 28-year-old's car, a black Mini Cooper bearing Florida tag EAC Z50.
