North Miami Police are investigating the murder of a security guard at an apartment complex.
The incident happened early Sunday when officers were called to the Center Court Apartments at 14899 Northeast 18th Avenue for a call of a male down at the guard shack, police said.
When the officers arrived they found 30-year-old Vinel Lamour, who had been shot. He was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Unit where he was pronounced dead.
The circumstances leading to Lamour's death are under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call North Miami Police at 305-891-0294.
