    An unseasonably warm pattern continues on Monday for South Florida, with highs heading into the 80s again this afternoon.

    The warm and humid pattern will continue _ with showers on the increase _ through Christmas Eve.

    Just in time for the holiday on Wednesday, conditions should briefly improve before shower chances return later in the week.

    Here is a rundown of what to expect the rest of the week:

    Today: Partly cloudy and warm, 83
    Tonight: Partly cloudy, 72
    Tomorrow: Partly sunny, isolated showers, 82
    Christmas: Mostly cloudy, slight chance of a shower. Low 66, high 77.
    Thursday: Partly sunny, isolated showers, 78
    Friday: Partly sunny, isolated showers, 79
