Monday began with scattered thunderstorms in South Florida with a chance for severe storms later in the day.

Expect off and on showers and storms with frequent lightning and gusty winds Monday. Highs will be in the upper 80s.


With a southeast steering flow during the next few days, plan on the rain chances to remain high through most of the week. This stormy pattern will persist with off and on storms during the morning and afternoon.
