Authorities said they arrested a makeup-wearing Merritt Island man for having a drug pipe after he told a Florida Highway Patrol trooper to check his bag, the Orlando Sentinel reported.

Roger Dean Whitt, 59, was arrested earlier this month and faces several drug possession charges, according to online jail records. He was also charged with violating his probation.

Deputies said Whitt wanted to return someone's lost driver's license to a trooper when the officer smelled alcohol on the man's breath, according to the Sentinel.

Whitt had black makeup around his eyes and a yellow rabbit drawn on his cheek. He carried a gold purse and wore a vest.

Whitt told the trooper to check his belongings, where the officer found a drug pipe with marijuana residue, according to the FHP report. There was also makeup inside of the bag.

When the officer found the pipe, Whitt said, "That's mine, I use it as an incense burner to burn Mojo," the report said. "Mojo" is synthetic marijuana, according to the newspaper.

Whitt was booked in Brevard County Jail and was held on $6,000 bond. This was not is first drug-related arrest, according to the newspaper.
