Police are investigating shooting inside a Miami Beach nightclub that left a man dead and two women injured early Sunday morning.
Miami Beach Police officials said they received a 911 call regarding shots fired inside GALA Miami at 235 23rd Street just before 4 a.m., police said.
When officers arrived, they found the three victims with apparent gunshot wounds.
The man and two women were transported from the scene to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center where the man died from his injuries.

Friends identified the man killed as 37-year-old Lowell Grissom, a rapper and A&R executive who goes by the stage name of "Lo" or "EveryBodyKnowsLo."
The two female victims are expected to recover, police said. By Monday, one woman had been released from the hospital while the other was in stable condition. Their identities weren't released.

“Our security at our club checked what was happening as everyone was screaming, people inside the club were running, women were screaming, scared," said a witness. "We helped them get inside our club so they could calm down, but we weren’t able to hear the shots because of the street noise, but it was really bad, really."
A spokesperson for the nightclub said in a statement that they're cooperating with the investigation.
"We are shocked and deeply saddened by the isolated and targeted incident that occurred last night at our upscale establishment. Our condolences are with the family and friends of the victim during this time," the statement said. "We are fully committed to providing assistance and cooperating with the Miami Beach PD as they conduct their ongoing investigation."
Police have not released any additional information about the events that led to the shooting incident, including whether any arrests have been made.
Friends of Grissom said they think he may have been targeted.
Friend and fellow rapper Chris Brown posted a message on Instagram for Grissom Sunday that said "rest up my brother."
