If you’re leaving town Friday, be sure to pack your patience. Some bad weather that made its way through the east coast Thursday caused some major delays at airports across the country.
As of Friday morning, there are just a few delays at Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport, as well as at least two flight cancellations.
At Miami International Airport, there are 12 delays and at least 17 reported cancellations.
On Thursday night, both airports reported hundreds of cancellations and thousands of delays across the country.
Before heading to the airport, it is advised that travelers contact their airlines to check the status of their flights.
